Why Do We Need Quality Assurance?
The term, ‘quality assurance’ means maintaining a minimum level of agreed support and service by continuing to measure the effectiveness of organisations providing this.
The BSP initiative aims to meet key principles in order that the scheme is:
- Safe
- Ethical
- Effective (evidence-based)
- Equitable (free or low cost)
- Person Centred
Registered charities, voluntary groups and organisations are expected to share evidence of a basic set of standards so that our Link Workers can formally socially prescribe people to organisations and groups that can support health and wellbeing.
Don’t worry if you haven’t got everything we’re looking for in place. Please contact us if you do not have everything we require, as we can support you to get ready. Please get in touch if you need some help.
