Guernsey Chest and Heart LBG Becomes First Charity Referral Partner for Bailiwick Social Prescribing

Bailiwick Social Prescribing is proud to announce a major milestone: Guernsey Chest and Heart LBG has officially joined as its first charity referral partner. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in connecting islanders with services that improve health and wellbeing.
Guernsey Chest and Heart LBG provide free cardiovascular risk screening every five years for individuals aged 25 to 75, alongside blood pressure and cholesterol checks for adults between 25 and 70. Their expert advice on diet and lifestyle helps reduce cardiac risk and supports healthier living.
Through this new partnership, nurses at Guernsey Chest and Heart LBG can now refer clients directly to Bailiwick Social Prescribing’s professionally trained link workers. This streamlined process allows nurses to focus on clinical screening while link workers can connect individuals to non-medical community resources to improve their overall wellbeing.
