COVID GUIDANCE
We take care and consideration of the needs of our clients and staff when applying Public Health guidance regarding Covid.
Please read on to find out how our professionally trained Link Workers continue to meet with clients during the pandemic.
Meeting with a BSP Link Worker during the COVID pandemic
If you have any Covid symptoms or a positive lateral flow (or PCR test), you should stay at home and seek Public Health advice calling 01481 220001 or 01481 220002, or click on I am a positive case | States of Guernsey – COVID-19 (gov.gg). If you are very unwell, see a doctor.
If you are due to meet with a BSP Link Worker and have Covid symptoms, or a positive lateral flow (or PCR test), or a member of your household has a positive result please call us as soon as possible on 01481 210433, or email your BSP Link Worker to re-arrange your meeting.

How do I meet with a BSP Link Worker during Covid?
Ideally our BSP Link Workers will meet with clients in person, but during periods of increased Covid cases and changes in Public Health guidance, this is not always possible. We may request that client meetings with a BSP Link Worker take place by telephone, or on-line. If this is not possible or appropriate (for example it is the first meeting) BSP Link Workers can meet clients face-to-face.
Meeting a BSP Link Worker in person
When BSP Link Workers meet with clients in person the following current guidance must be followed:
-
-
- No members of the client’s household should have a positive result at the time of the meeting
-
-
-
- BSP Link Workers will endeavour to organise meetings in well ventilated and open areas
-
-
-
- Please note that meetings with a BSP Link Worker will be cancelled if any symptoms of COVID are present in either the client or the BSP Link Worker
